Service Monitor Toolkit

A module for IT monitoring and observability that helps analyze the impact of changes and identify the root causes of incidents.

The Service Monitor Toolkit

The Service Monitor Toolkit provides observability at infrastructure, service, and application levels. It unites metrics, logs, and traces in a unified health model, correlates events from heterogeneous sources, and helps find root causes of failures.

The new module extends the capabilities of Search Anywhere Framework beyond traditional monitoring to provide full-stack observability into system and service behavior. It gives teams a complete view of IT health, helps trace dependencies across components and services, and enables faster root cause analysis with business context and user impact in mind.

key features

Investigations

A tool for correlating metric values across a unified timeline. It enables teams to compare changes, analyze relationships between events, and identify cause-and-effect connections across infrastructure components and services. Investigation workflows can be saved and reused for future analysis.

Analytics Hub

The Analytics Hub is a starting point for monitoring and diagnosing services. It enables teams to quickly assess service health, identify problematic components, and drill down into detailed diagnostics through health models and investigation tools.

Root Cause Analysis

Root Cause Analysis is an automated analytical report designed to identify the most likely causes of service degradation and incidents. Root cause identification is based on service metrics and takes into account dependencies between infrastructure and service components, overall service health, related metrics, and recent infrastructure changes.

    Inventory module

Native integration with Inventory module - automatic construction of health models from existing assets and their relationships.

    Maintenance Mode

Maintenance Mode is now available for metrics, you can add exceptions in the form of time periods when the metric state is not calculated and does not affect service health.
